Mr Bankole Odetola or "Big" as his friends called him, had recently purchased Rhythm Inc. - the parent company that owned Rhythm 93.7 and Classic FM Lagos. It was the first of many impulsive purchases he had made after making more than two billion naira off the currency exchange debacle that had recently befallen the Nigerian populace. At 48, he didn't feel like much of a boy anymore but he still had an intrepid spirit that was almost child-like. He wasn't afraid to do exactly as he pleased and completely unapologetic about his eccentricities and interests, particularly with fast cars and controversial women.
